How Community, Journaling, and Creativity Support Our Mental Health
A weekly (or even daily) practice — like the journal developed by sisters Heather Kell and Holly Rohring — can spark positive, long-term change.
Creativity has always played a role in the lives of twin sisters Heather Kell and Holly Rohring. The two partnered in 2025 to put mental health work in our own hands, with the launch of their Mental Health Journal.
Heather’s small business, Kell of Plan (which recently celebrated its ten-year anniversary), and Holly’s work as a licensed professional counselor shaped the journal.
Also worth noting: Holly is now a regular contributor to Wendy Crafts, writing monthly articles on a variety of mental health topics. The partnership also includes live discussions on Instagram focused on mental health tools and resources.
